The Lazy table by Bram Boo will show at Mint this September
August 25, 2008. Coinciding with its tenth anniversary, as well as
The London Design Festival and
100% Design,
the Mint showroom will present
Forget Me Knot, an exhibition that will run from September 18th to the 30th at its 70 Wigmore Street, Marylebone location. The show will feature 'Roots' by
Marije Vogelzang of famed experimental Amsterdam and Rotterdam-based restaurants,
Proef, that will integrate food and design. Exploring how nature and the environment influence the design process, mint,
Alias and
Moroso will collaborate to blur the boundary between indoor and outdoor living, a theme that will also be picked up by a selection of pieces by local design graduates, as well as
Bram Boo,
Ward van Gemert and
Folkform. For its The Collectors collection, Folkform embedded butterflies or plants donated by actual collectors in Masonite hardboard to create organically decorated furniture. New design by
Joost van Bleiswijk,
Kiki van Eijk and
Qubus’ Maxim Velcovsky will also be on display, along with Mindcraft, a mini-show featuring
Danish Crafts pieces by
Ditte Hammerstrom,
Louise Hindsgavl, Astrid Krogh and
Cecilie Manz.
